Welcome to Mike Carr Gallery

This website represents a dream I’ve had for years now—to be a professional landscape photographer. This blog’s purpose is to share my thoughts, tips, struggles, goals, recommendations, and ideas.

The plan is to document some of the interesting places around where I live in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene. If everything goes how I hope it does, I should be adding a full gallery for Glacier National Park and Olympic National Park by the fall. I’m also hoping to compile my favorite 10 pictures from the year into a limited box set. Putting this goal out there and sharing it with anyone reading my blog will hopefully give me the motivation I need to make it happen.

If you ever have questions about my work, specific photography techniques, or locations that I share photos of, feel free to reach out via email. I’ll do my best to answer you. And if I really have no clue, then maybe we’ll learn something new together.

Sincerely though, I want my photography to be a way for me to express myself and share the beauty of this world with others. I love the time I get to spend on trails. And when I come home with a new, epic photo, it’s exciting for me to share it.
